About Red Loft

Red Loft is a housing consultancy that specialises in affordable housing and regeneration services for housing associations, ALMOs, local authorities and developers.  We provide a range of development services, including project management, support with HCA bids and grant agreements, EU procurement, Code for Sustainable Homes assessments, stock transfer management and the production of procedures, design briefs and development manuals.

All our clients are provided with a full range of services, customised to meet their specific requirements.  Red Loft guarantees that the best support and experience will be used to ensure successful delivery in all its areas of work.

Red Loft began in April 2002.  The partners, David Leah, Danny Sutcliffe and Janet Crome, had all worked for many years in the social housing sector.  David already had his own consultancy for more than five years and Danny and Janet had both worked for some of the largest developing RSLs in the country.

Since then, we have expanded significantly.  As our client list and work load has grown, we have taken on many new people, all of whom share our philosophy.  We believe that we have chosen the best team to provide the optimum service for our clients.  Between them, there exists a complete range of skills, knowledge and experience, which provides the basis for a new type of housing consultancy covering all areas of development and regeneration.

In 2005, we opened an office in Manchester in order to meet the growing demand for our services in the midlands and the north.  This office carries out work for RSLs, ALMOs and developers and the staff have a particularly strong expertise in supported housing.
