Red Loft was appointed as project manager to act for Genesis on 150 High Street, Stratford, opposite the Olympic Park. Our brief was to conclude negotiations with the vendor and work with them to achieve a satisfactory planning consent. We were asked to find a suitable partner to construct the £140 million development.
The site on Stratford High Street, one of Genesis’ biggest-ever land acquisitions, will include several residential blocks including a 42 storey tower as well as commercial and retail units and a hotel.
Planning approval was granted to develop over 650 homes. The Greater London Authority’s Stage II report said that the scheme “has the potential to deliver significant new employment while also delivering a large number of new homes in this highly accessible location.”
This scheme is currently on site and is being built by Ardmore Construction.
