Andrea Turner
Before joining Red Loft in 2007, Andrea had worked in the social housing development and housing management sector since 1986. She started her career with Bury MBC, having completed a degree in Housing Studies and worked for Bury MBC until 1993 on a range of special projects including estate action renewal.
From 1998 to 2007 Andrea worked in the development, regeneration and new business departments for a number of large RSLs including Northern Counties HA, English Churches HG and Riverside Group working on a range of projects. These included the re-provision of a homeless families hostel for Manchester City Council as well as, Moorbank in Fallowfield, which utilised modern and sustainable methods of construction and obtaining ECHGs’ first project funded by DOH to deliver extra care for people with learning disabilities in Salford.
Andrea has a particular interest in Sustainable Homes and is Red Lofts’ BRE licensed Eco Homes and Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor. She is also a Member of the RICS and Fellow of the Chartered institute of Housing.
When not spending time with her daughter or going on trips, Andrea mainly currently enjoys much socialising with friends, and trying to keep fit with salsa and some challenging yoga.
