We were incredibly proud to see Richmond Place in Dublin featured on last night’s episode of Nationwide on RTÉ.

Red Loft supported Circle Voluntary Housing Association in delivering this scheme back in March 2025.

The programme explored the ongoing challenges facing housing for older persons in Ireland and highlighted the innovative approaches being taken to help more people access a secure, affordable home with person-centred support to enable them to age in place.

Richmond Place was showcased as a leading example of what can be achieved through collaboration and ambition, a pioneering affordable housing scheme that was the first of its kind in Ireland and has since gone on to win multiple awards.

In the episode, John Hannigan, CEO of Circle VHA, described Richmond Place as a “pathfinder for the country,” adding that the Government’s intention is to see this model replicated in every Local Authority and, if possible, in every town nationwide.

It’s fantastic to see the project recognised on a national platform and to be part of a development that is helping to shape the future of housing delivery in Ireland.

Well done to all the agencies involved in making Richmond Place such a success 👏
