Chris Cheeseman

Chris joined Red Loft in 2019 . Previously he was Partner at private sector niche consultancy, ikon, having joined in 2006 from his role as Group Director of Development and New Business at major Housing Association, Moat Housing Group. Here Chris was part of the leadership team reporting to the Group CEO and Group Board, and responsible for securing and delivering a top 5 housing grant allocation of £100m+, estate regeneration and low cost home ownership. Chris has significant residential development experience, including working with Housing Associations, developers, local authorities, public agencies and the private sector on multi tenure development. He has led housing private finance initiative (PFI), developing delivering vehicles (JVCo), public/private partnerships and progression of land led development as well as securing major regeneration place making opportunities. In a non Exec capacity Chris chairs Golding Homes, a Maidstone based housing association managing nearly 8,000 homes.
