At Red Loft, we’re proud to be a supporter organisation of White Ribbon UK, the leading charity in England and Wales engaging men and boys to prevent violence against women and girls.

Today, we mark White Ribbon Day 2025, a day dedicated to recognising the vital work that White Ribbon UK does to challenge harmful attitudes and behaviours. This year’s theme, We Speak Up, reinforces the message that letting sexism slide allows harmful attitudes to persist.

Sexist jokes, catcalling, staring and “offhand” comments might seem harmless, but they contribute to a culture that normalises disrespect to women, which can lead to violence and abuse.

We want to encourage more men to use their voices to stand up against this behaviour and help build a world where everyone is safe, equal and respected.

Our White Ribbon Ambassador, Reuben Duncan and White Ribbon Champion, Sophie Barker, help drive this mission forward at Red Loft. Today, we’re spreading the message in the office by wearing our White Ribbon badges, signing the White Ribbon promise and raising funds through a bake sale.
