Our Partner Neil Jervis, spoke with Toby Fox, Founder of 1.5M New Homes: The Local Government Challenge, about our learnings and takeaways from the campaign so far.

In this short interview, Neil highlights the importance of starting a project off on the right foot, establishing the key objectives and stakeholders involved and using this as an essential ingredient to deliver a successful scheme.

He also discusses the complexities involved in delivering schemes today, including economic viability and regulatory requirements, an ongoing theme we have seen throughout the campaign.

At Red Loft, we have an expert team who are well-equipped to manage these challenges and support in delivering an effective programme. Our work covers financial viability and appraisals, business planning and detailed economic modelling, helping our clients to better understand their programme and how best to deliver it.

We are pleased that the campaign is bringing light to these issues and identifying the next steps in moving forward to deliver more homes.

If you would like to get in touch to discuss our services and how we can support you, please contact Neil Jervis njervis@redloft.co.uk for more information.

Many thanks to Toby Fox for leading this campaign and to all the Councils who have been involved and shared their experiences so far.
